Congratulations to all runners, volunteers, and fans for completing the event, and thank you for the amazing atmosphere you created together. Results will be available on our website approximately one hour after the last runner finishes. All runners have become part of the RunCzech Half series. Czech fans have their winner!
Mykola Mevsha takes second place, 25 seconds behind, while Jona Bodirsky finishes third, 44 seconds behind the winner.
Jorge Blanco is in the finish! 1:03:08 and a dominant victory at the Mattoni Olomouc Half Marathon!
The winners of the race will receive special trophies made by the Czech glassworks Ajeto.
The fastest women have also passed the 15-kilometer mark.
Jorge Blanco is attacking the fastest EuroHeroes time of the season, with races in Karlovy Vary and České Budějovice both being run in over 1:03:00.
The men are already in Smetanovy sady, which means they have passed the 15-kilometer mark.
Tereza Hrochová is on pace to break the Czech race record.
Race records
After 10 kilometers, Tereza Hrochová trails the leading Spaniard by 10 seconds. The battle for the bronze position is shaping up between Nóra Szabó and Nataliia Strebkova.
Carolina Robles is on pace to break the European race record! She is currently targeting a time of 1:09:25, which would improve the existing record by 26 seconds.
We are approaching the halfway point of the race, and the same quartet remains at the front.
The runners are currently lined up in the order of Blanco, Bodirsky, Mevsha, and Becker, reaching the mark in 29:34. It looks like we’re in for an exciting battle for the top positions!

Running Doctors
A new feature of this year’s event is the Running Doctors project, where doctors run the course alongside runners so they can provide immediate assistance if needed.
The race holds the World Athletics Label.
The leading women have also passed the 5 km mark. Hrochová and Robles are sharing the lead with a time of 16:29, while the experienced Szabó is 9 seconds behind them.
The first 5 kilometers
are behind us, and a group of four runners — Becker, Blanco, Bodirsky, and Mevsha — leads the men’s field in 14:39. Twenty seconds behind them is Choukoud. The fastest Czech runner so far is Matěj Hřebačka, currently in 8th place.
The race is celebrating its 16th year this year. It was first held in 2010.
More than 8,000 runners registered for the main half marathon race, setting off on the Olomouc course to the sound of Smetana’s Vltava.
A field of 30 elite runners from 10 European countries will line up at the start today.
The largest number of international runners came from Slovakia, Poland, Germany, Ukraine, and the USA. Runners from 62 nationalities are taking part in the race.
The oldest runner at the Mattoni Half Marathon Olomouc is 78 years old, and the oldest female runner is 74 years old. Both are from the United Kingdom.
The Mattoni Half Marathon Olomouc is the third race of the EuroHeroes project in 2026.

The Šantovka 5 km Run has just started!
At the Šantovka 5K Run in Olomouc, a total of 1,060 runners are taking part, with approximately 40 % men and 60 % women, representing participants from 30 different nationalities.
At the Šantovka 5K Run in Olomouc, the most common names among participants are Tomáš and Tereza.
The oldest registered participant in the Šantovka 5 km Run in Olomouc is a 72-year-old man from the Czech Republic.
Mattoni Music Festival

Come and enjoy the unique race atmosphere at the partner square on the main square in Olomouc, where you can enjoy partner activations, refreshments, and the Mattoni photo booth. The race can also be watched live on a large screen in the square.
Mattoni has prepared a personal best bell for runners in the finish zone — don’t forget to ring it and celebrate your performance!
You can still pick up your race bib at the Moravia Sport Expo today until 7:00 PM.

As part of the race day, the traditional Olomouc wheelchair relay will take place from 9:00 to 21:00 in cooperation with the Trend Wheelchair Users Association foundation. The start is located at the Výstaviště Flora Olomouc.
Moravia Sport Expo
Today until 19:00, you can visit Moravia Sport Expo at Výstaviště Flora Olomouc (Wolkerova 37/17, Olomouc). Come and pick up your race bib, buy the official race T-shirt, or get all the information you need about your race day.
As part of the program, Moravia Sport Olomouc also features a sports fair with more than 40 clubs and exhibitors, where you can try different sports for free, meet coaches, and get inspired for yourself or your children. Admission is free and refreshments are provided. The Expo takes place from Friday (9:00 – 19:00) to Saturday (9:00 – 17:00).

As part of the program, Moravia Sport Olomouc also brings a sports fair with more than 40 clubs and exhibitors, where you can try different sports for free, meet coaches, and get inspired for yourself or your children. Admission is free and refreshments are provided. The Expo runs throughout the weekend, with Sunday opening from 9:00 to 17:00.
