Preparation – The Key to Success
Only run if you’re fit. Don’t push yourself if you’re not in good health.
Start hydrating several days before the race. During the run, keep drinking fluids regularly, even if you don’t feel thirsty.
Eat sensibly. Avoid heavy or unfamiliar foods that could upset your digestion.
Keep important information handy. Fill out your online medical card or write essential details—such as allergies or medications—on the back of your race number.
Don’t underestimate the importance of warming up. Before the start, do a light jog and some stretching.
Check the latest weather forecast. Adjust your pace, clothing, and fluid intake according to the current weather conditions.
Pay Attention to Warning Signs
Dizziness, nausea, chest pain, or extreme fatigue are signs that you should slow down and seek help.
Feeling overheated, chills, or confusion may indicate serious conditions like heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
Where to Find Us
The Prague EMS will have a Golem module at Old Town Square. Our medical tents will be located at Můstek and Ovocný trh, and ambulance teams will be stationed along the course.
Don’t Hesitate to Ask for Help
If you don’t feel well during the race or at the finish, don’t hesitate to ask medical staff or race organizers for help. You can also call (or ask spectators to call) the emergency services at 155.
Just standing at the starting line is already a small victory. Remember, you don’t have to finish at all costs. If something doesn’t feel right, the bigger win is knowing when to slow down, rehydrate, or seek help—and try again another time.
Please participate in the race only if you are in excellent health and have undergone adequate preparation. We recommend having a medical check-up with a specialist and paying close attention to your current health condition.
If you do not feel well or have symptoms of a respiratory illness, please consider whether to take part in the race.
Please fill in important medical information on the back of your bib number, such as allergies, medications, and an emergency contact person.

Results will be published after the race as soon as possible. The ranking is determined by the official time. Since September 2025, the official time at RunCzech races has been defined as the runners’ real time (from crossing the start line to finishing the race). The previously used so-called gun time (time from the starting gun) is no longer applied as the primary source for determining the final ranking.
For non-competitive runs (dm Family Mile, dm Bambini Run, and Active Breakfast Run), the overall ranking is not evaluated.
You can contact us, if there is a mistake in your result within 5 working days after the race. Don’t forget to provide the name of the race, your start number and as many details as possible. In the team race the official result of all team members is added up.
Please follow the instructions of the organizers and volunteers! Thank you.
RunCzech Halfs is a running series that includes all RunCzech half marathons:
Start in 2025 – Only races that are completed (i.e., your result is listed in the official race results) from the year 2025 will be counted.
You have 36 months from the date of your first race to complete all five races.

Runners will get:
You can have your running card in both digital and physical form. The card will be used to record your achievements through special race badges. The digital card will be available in your RunnersID profile under the RunCzech Halfs section. The physical card will be an optional addition that you can purchase (it will be available later).
You can participate in the series only once under a specific profile (your Runners ID) and earn one medal.
The RunCzech Halfs section in your Runners ID can help you keep track of the races you have completed. Here you can find your race times and how much time you have left to complete the RunCzech Halfs series.
You’ll receive a special commemorative medal and your digital medal will be fully revealed in your profile, ready to share on social media!
