The Czech race record is also under threat. Damián Vích, representing the RunCzech Racing Team, is on pace for a time of around 1:03:30. That would improve his own personal best from last year by nearly a minute.

The women have completed the first 10 km, and Spain’s Robles has broken away from the leading group!
She is now 24 seconds ahead of the Szabó–Wilson duo, while Michaela Čepová trails another 7 seconds behind.

Jan Lukas Becker is so far confirming his role as the main favourite and is on pace to break the European race record!
The situation in the women’s race is even more dramatic. Robles, Čepová, Wilson, and Szabó all crossed the 5 km mark with the identical time of 16:50.
The start and finish of the race are located near the iconic Thermal Hotel.
The fastest men have completed the first 5 kilometres.
Jan Lukas Becker is currently leading with a time of 14:31, followed less than half a minute behind by Emil Millan and local runner Damián Vích.
The elite top five is completed by two more Czech runners, Maaz and Homoláč.
The race is celebrating its 13th year this year. It was first held in 2013.
