Information for runners

General Rules UniCredit Prague relay

The use of roller skates, bicycles, or any other vehicles is strictly prohibited. Entering the course with strollers, running with dogs, or taking children onto the race route is also not allowed.
Participation in the race is at your own risk. Please consider your physical condition before taking part. Each runner is personally responsible for deciding whether they are fit and capable of completing the full distance.

Time Limit

The time limit to complete the race is 2.5 hours from the official start (gunshot).

Timing and Chip

Timing is recorded using a chip attached to the relay baton. The baton consists of a strap that you pass on to the next team member. Each relay runner must wear their race number visibly on the front of their chest.

Can I edit the start list even after registering the team?

The starting list (runner order) can be edited after registration through our website in the profile of the person who registered the team, up until one day (midnight) before the race. Once the race numbers are picked up at the Running Expo, it is no longer possible to change the order.

You can edit the runner order by clicking the EDIT DATA button and then the CHANGE RUNNER ORDER button.

Race Number

“The start number consists of four digits followed by a letter (A, B, C, or D), which indicates the order in which the relay team runs.”
Order cannot be changed during the race!

xxxxD – fourth leg (example of starting number 1300D)

xxxxA – first leg (example of starting number 1300A)

xxxxB – second leg (example of starting number 1300B)

xxxxC – third leg (example of starting number 1300C)


Race Start

The race starts directly in front of Výstaviště Praha Holešovice.
The best way to get there is via the Výstaviště Holešovice tram stop.

Only runners starting the first leg (those with race numbers ending with “A”) will be allowed into the starting area.
Entry to the start is via the main gate of Výstaviště Praha Holešovice.

Relay handover Zone

Located near the start area.
Before the race, agree with your teammates on which exchange zone you’ll meet in and how to recognize each other – clothing color, waiting spot, etc.
There will be about 1000 other runners in the area, so good coordination will save you valuable seconds.
Exchange zones will be clearly marked with letters for easier identification.

  • Only runners with numbers ending with “B” (runs the second leg). will be allowed into the exchange area after the race has started.
  • Runners with numbers ending with “C” (runs the second leg) may enter the zone starting at 18:25.
  • Runners with numbers ending with “D” (runs the second leg) may enter from 18:40.

Course Length

One relay lap is 4.8 km long.

Technical area – Bag Drop & Changing Rooms

Opening / Closing: 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM

Bag storage and changing facilities will be available near the start and finish areas.

Medical Services

Medical assistance will be available at the start, finish, and along the course.
In case of any health issues, please call 155 or notify a race organizer or volunteer immediately.


After the Race

Awards Ceremony

The awards ceremony for winning relay teams will take place after the race in front of the Industrial Palace (Průmyslový palác).

Results and downloadable diplomas will be available as soon as possible at www.runczech.com.
A podium ceremony will be held in front of the Industrial Palace for the top three relay teams in each category immediately after the race.
