The RunCzech Racing Team was founded in 2014 in collaboration with Zane Branson with the aim of supporting top endurance runners and developing the world of running. In its early days, the team had an international character, with Kenyan athletes dominating its membership, many of whom later made their mark on the world stage. Notable examples include Joyciline Jepkosgei, then holder of several world records and silver medalist at the World Half Marathon Championships, and Rhonex Kipruta, previous world record holder in the 10 km.

Currently, the project focuses primarily on supporting young Czech runners who have the potential to make their mark at the European and world level. Our goal is to create conditions that will enable them to grow, improve, and achieve performance levels matching the European endurance elite.

OUR VISION

We see the RunCzech racing team not only in terms of sporting results, but also in connecting elite athletes with amateur runners. We organize group runs, training sessions, and meetings where runners of all levels can be inspired, share experiences, and grow together.

The project has already brought its first successes – some team members have broken national records and are pushing the boundaries of Czech running further.

Our vision is for the Czech Republic to once again rank among the leading endurance nations in Europe.
