RUNCZECH STARTS 2023 RACES FAST AND FURIOUS

After two years of cancellations and delays at running events all around the world, RunCzech announces that its 2023 season is back to pre-pandemic normal. Same great races. Same schedule. Same high standard of excellence. A standard that is quite possibly the highest in the world, judging from the number of World Athletics labels awarded to RunCzech for its upcoming season.

WA awarded RunCzech 8 labels—more than any other running organization in the world, and one label for every single event that qualifies for one. Including its fabled Prague runs, its regional runs, and Napoli half marathon which RunCzech also organizes.

WA awards medals for operational integrity, the quality of a race’s elite participants, adherence to a comprehensive anti-doping program, prize money offered to participants, accuracy of its time-keepers, the quality of its course, and assorted other criteria. "It's a great honor for us," says Carlo Capalbo, president of the RunCzech organizing committee. "Runners are being much more selective about the races they choose to run.  And the labels provide them with a guarantee that their chosen events will be flawlessly administered.  Yes, they want to run in a great city and on a beautiful course, which Prague delivers, 100%. But race details matter to them.  They want everything perfect. And so do we."

RunCzech kicks off its new season with its traditional half marathon in Napoli on February 26, followed by the Prague Half Marathon on April 1, 2023, and races in other beautiful cities all around the Czech Republic.
