In hot weather

In addition to maintaining proper hydration, we recommend that runners and visitors wear light, breathable clothing, protect themselves from the sun with a hat, and spend as much time as possible in the shade during the day.

Drink fluids throughout the day even if you do not feel thirsty, as this helps prevent dehydration.

For runners, an ample supply of water will be available at the refreshment stations and at the finish.

In addition to ensuring proper hydration, participants on the course will be cooled by a water spray vehicle and misting systems.

Course overview

The marathon course is one of the most beautiful in Europe. It runs through Prague’s historic centre, along the Vltava and across seven bridges. The Marathon Music Festival adds 19 music points along the way – no shortage of energy.

Overview of historic buildings along the course can be found here.

@runczech

The Marathon Expo

Starts on Friday at 10:00 at Výstaviště, in the Křižík Pavilions B, C and D. It’s open Friday and Saturday from 10:00 to 20:00.

Bib pickup for the dm family mile runs during saturday is from 8:00 to 13:30. It now moves to Pavilion D to better distribute visitor flow.

Pavilions B and C host pickup for the main marathon. We’ve expanded the distribution counters from 15 to 25 metres and split them into men’s and women’s sections. We’ve also added more pickup stations and staff so the whole process runs as smoothly as possible.

The outdoor space between the pavilions has more facilities and seating – especially with the warm weather expected. Access to the Expo now leads through Stromovka park around the Planetarium, making arrival smoother and more comfortable.

Don’t leave your bib pickup until the last minute. Please arrive early.

@runczech
