Starting from the 2026 season, the Hyundai brand is providing mobility for the most popular Czech running series, RunCzech. This partnership was established in accordance with the brand’s international strategy, which supports running series and races across Europe – successful projects have already been running for several years in France, Spain, Portugal, and Austria.
The Hyundai brand is becoming the official partner of the most popular Czech running series. Mobility for RunCzech will be provided by a wide range of models available on the Czech market, across various segments and powertrain types. The Hyundai brand successfully supports running and an active lifestyle in many European countries, including France, Spain, and others.
“We view the partnership with RunCzech as part of our support for an active and healthy lifestyle in the spirit of our philosophy, ‘Progress for Humanity.’ Whether people engage in running professionally or purely as amateurs, it brings them joy and amazing sporting experiences. It is an honor for us to join forces with those who are at the absolute forefront of this field in our country.” — Martin Saitz, Managing Director of Hyundai Motor Czech.
RunCzech representatives will now utilize a wide array of models from the Hyundai product range—from the compact Inster to the Nošovice-built SUVs Kona Electric and Tucson, as well as the representative Santa Fe and the large-capacity MPV Staria. These vehicles will serve for routine operational tasks related to race organization and as a shuttle service for elite athletes. The Inster urban electric vehicle will also serve as the timekeeping car, accompanying the lead runners without making their journey to the finish line unpleasant with noise or exhaust fumes.
“By linking RunCzech and Hyundai, we are reaching a new level of mobility in race logistics. We view Hyundai’s strategy of supporting an active lifestyle on a global scale very positively, as it fits into our long-term plan of cooperating with partners across industries. The ecological footprint is also paramount to us, and we know that with Hyundai, we will provide the best conditions for runners of all levels participating in the Prague International Marathon and other events.” — Carlo Capalbo, President of the RunCzech Organizing Committee.
The upcoming Vodafone Marathon Prague 2026 on the weekend of May 2–3 will be the first racing event where the Hyundai brand will be presented in its role as official partner.
