Enter for your chance to run the Generali Prague Half Marathon 2027
Equal chances. Plenty of time to enter.
Following the exceptional demand in previous years, entries for the Generali Prague Half Marathon 2027 will be allocated through a ballot.
The new system is designed to make the process fairer, more transparent and more comfortable for every runner.
Submit your application for free during the ballot period (21 July to 11 August).
Once the ballot closes, we will conduct the draw and notify everyone by email.
If selected, you will receive the opportunity to purchase your race entry.
Before entering the ballot, please read the full Terms and Conditions.
The Generali Prague Half Marathon will take place on Saturday, 3 April 2027.
Applications for the ballot may be submitted from 21 July to 11 August 2026. The application period closes on 11 August 2026 at 23:59:59 Central European Summer Time (CEST). Applicants will be notified of the ballot results by e-mail no later than 21 August 2026.
The race has a limited capacity and demand exceeds the number of available places. Our goal is to ensure maximum safety, comfort, and a fair opportunity for all interested runners.
For this reason, the Organizer is introducing a registration system based on a random selection (ballot) for selected events. The first event to use this system will be the Generali Prague Half Marathon 2027.
No. Not all race entries are allocated through the ballot. The Organizer reserves the right to allocate a portion of the available entries to other registration programmes, including charity programmes, commercial partners, travel agencies, elite athletes, loyalty programmes, or other programmes operated by the Organizer. Entries allocated to these programmes are not included in the ballot.
Yes. If you wish to run the Generali Prague Half Marathon 2027 as part of the SuperHalfs series, you must enter the ballot unless you obtain an entry through another registration programme, such as a charity programme or a travel agency. Please note that places within these registration programmes are also limited.
No. Submitting a ballot application is completely free of charge and does not require any payment details at this stage. You will only be required to pay the registration fee if you are successfully selected and invited to complete your registration.
Applications for the ballot may be submitted from 21 July to 11 August 2026. Applications must be submitted exclusively online using the application form available on the Organizer’s website. A link to the application form will also be shared through the Organizer’s newsletters and social media channels. Submitting an application does not guarantee entry to the race.
Yes. You may submit an application for yourself only or together with one additional participant. Joint applications for more than two participants are not permitted.
In the case of a joint application, both participants are treated as a single application and the ballot result applies to both participants together. This means that either both participants will receive the opportunity to complete their registration, or neither of them will.
No. Each person may only be included in one application, either individually or as part of a joint application for two participants. If the Organizer determines that the same person has been included in multiple applications, only the first valid application submitted will remain in the ballot. All duplicate or intentionally duplicated applications will be removed without compensation.
If you already have a Runners ID profile, we recommend using the same e-mail address that is associated with your profile when submitting your application.
Yes. After successfully submitting your application, you will see a confirmation that your application has been successfully received. At the same time, a confirmation e-mail will automatically be sent to the e-mail address you provided. Your Runners ID profile only displays completed race registrations, not ballot applications.
Yes. Each participant in a joint application will receive their own confirmation e-mail containing only their personal information. The e-mail will also include the other participant’s e-mail address in the “I want to run with” field, allowing you to verify that the joint application has been created correctly.
If you discover that any of the information you submitted is incorrect, please contact the Organizer’s customer support as soon as possible ([email protected]). Once the application period has closed, it may no longer be possible to update your details.
Please first check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folder. If you have not received the confirmation email within 24 hours of submitting your application, please contact the Organizer’s customer support team.
The random selection will take place from all valid applications no later than 21 August 2026. You will be notified of the ballot result via the e-mail address provided in your application. We also recommend checking your Spam and Promotions folders.
The Organizer’s decision regarding the ballot results is final and cannot be appealed.
Starting with the 2027 season, the Generali Prague Half Marathon has a single fixed registration fee.
The entry fee for the 2027 edition is CZK 2,000 (€80), consisting of a registration fee of CZK 1,950 (€78) and a handling fee of CZK 50 (€2).
If you purchase additional products during registration (such as the official adidas event T-shirt or race photos), their price will be added to the total amount.
Due to the introduction of the fixed registration fee, the Czech Marathon Club (CMK) discount will no longer be available for the Generali Prague Half Marathon from the 2027 season onwards.
The RunCzech Kings & Queens discount remains available.
If you are successfully selected, you will receive an e-mail containing your unique registration code and instructions on how to complete your registration.
Being selected in the ballot does not by itself guarantee your participation in the race.
You must complete your registration and pay the entry fee of CZK 2,000 (€80) within 7 calendar days of receiving the e-mail, unless a different deadline is specified in the e-mail.
If you do not complete your registration or pay the registration fee within this period, your right to register will expire without compensation and the deadline cannot be extended.
No. The registration code issued through the ballot is non-transferable and may only be used to register the person or persons named in the ballot application.
If you do not complete your registration within 7 calendar days of receiving the e-mail (unless otherwise specified by the Organizer), your registration code will expire without compensation.
If the Organizer determines that the registration code has been used in breach of these rules, the Organizer reserves the right to refuse or cancel the registration.
Yes. Once your registration has been successfully completed and the entry fee has been paid, your registration becomes subject to the Organizer’s standard rules.
A registration may be transferred to another participant online through your Runners ID profile in accordance with the Race Rules. Detailed instructions can be found in the Registration Transfer Rules:
https://www.runczech.com/en/for-you/for-runners/registration-transfer-manual-and-rules
Deferring your registration to the following year’s race is not permitted.
If a successfully selected participant does not complete their registration or pay the entry fee within the specified deadline, their right to register will expire and the entry will become available again.
The Organizer may allocate these released entries to other registration programmes, such as charity programmes, commercial partners, travel agencies, or similar programmes.
If you are not selected, you will receive an e-mail informing you of the ballot result. We may also offer you alternative registration opportunities, including:
Only in exceptional circumstances. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the ballot only in the event of extraordinary circumstances, technical issues, or other serious reasons that could not reasonably have been foreseen. Any such changes will be announced on the Organizer’s website without undue delay.
