Dear residents,

Dear citizens of Liberec,

On Sunday, October 5, our city will once again become the center of the running world. The 8th edition of the Mattoni Liberec Trail Run, held under the rules of World and European Athletics and supported by the statutory city of Liberec, has from the very beginning ranked among the elite of trail running events.

This year, we can look forward to thousands of runners across various categories. Naturally, this will also bring certain restrictions in the form of road closures. We kindly ask for your understanding regarding the necessary short-term traffic limitations that will occur on the day of the race.

At the same time, we would like to warmly invite you into the streets — to actively participate, cheer on the runners, or enjoy the performances of several live music bands.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS APPLY (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED) ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2025

All traffic restrictions apply to the Mattoni Liberec Trail Run event, which includes the following races: Mattoni Liberec Trail Run 22 km, Trail Run 12 km, and the dm family mile Liberec.

FULL ROAD CLOSURE INCLUDING NO STOPPING (PARKING) ORDER:

  • Sokolovské náměstí: 4. 10. 6:00 – 5. 10. 20:00
  • Nám dr. E. Beneše: 4. 10. 8:00 – 5. 10. 20:00

And on Sunday, October 5, along the race route on the following streets:

  • Železná 7:30 – 16:00
  • Rumjancevova 9:30 – 16:00
  • Šamánkova 9:30 – 16:00
  • Voroněžská 9:30 – 16:00
  • Masarykova 10:30 – 16:00
  • Na Vyhlídce (směr k lomu Ligranit) 10:30 – cca 13:30
  • 5. května (v úseku Šamánkova – Voronežská) 09:30 – 10:45
  • U Zoologické zahrady 10:30 – cca 12:15
  • Javorová 10:30 – cca 12:45
  • Sovova 10:30 – cca 12:45
  • Lidové sady 11:45 – 14:30
  • Rudolfovská 11:30 – 15:00
  • K Černé Nise 11:30 – 13:30
  • Nastoupilova 11:30 – 15:00
  • U Vleku 11:30 – 15:00

THE FOLLOWING CROSSINGS ARE PERMITTED ALONG THE RACE ROUTE (see map 1):

  • Rudolfov area – passage through Rudolfovská Street is permitted with caution in the direction from Horská and Jizerská.
  • Bedřichovská Street – completely unrestricted in the direction from Jizerská.

PARKING INFORMATION NEAR THE ZOO

  • Entry to and exit from the ZOO parking lot via Lidové sady Street will be closed from 11:45 a.m. to approximately 3:00 p.m.
  • Access will be possible via Javorová/Tichá Street, except during the period from 10:30 a.m. to approximately 12:45 p.m.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT RESTRICTIONS

Information about changes to public transport can be found at www.dpmlj.cz and www.runczech.com. Further details will also be available at the affected public transport stops.

PARKING FOR RESIDENTS

Alternative parking lots for holders of resident and subscriber cards will be indicated on traffic signs placed 7 days before the event. This applies to the following locations: Sokolovské Square, Frýdlantská Street, Kostelní Street, Mariánská Street.
