“RunCzech races captivate me with their unique charm and electrifying atmosphere,” says popular German influencer.
The ORLEN Prague Marathon 2025 is set to welcome runners from an exceptionally high number of countries, as participants from over 110 nations across all continents prepare to line up on Sunday, May 4. Among the most represented nationalities is Germany, whose runners make up nearly 5% of the total 10,000 participants.
The endurance events in the popular RunCzech series continue to attract prominent public figures from both the Czech Republic and abroad. This year’s Generali Prague Half Marathon, for example, saw the participation of four well-known German journalists. Particularly impressive was influencer Cindy Haase, who finished with a time of 1:33:36, earning an excellent third place in the highly competitive W45 category.
“The Prague Half Marathon once again showed me how special running can be. The energy of the crowd, the beauty of the city, and the fantastic organization make it a race that stays with you,” said Cindy after her experience in the Czech capital. “This event gave me so much motivation and joy, a new personal best, and inspiration for my future running goals.”
Cindy Haase is a regular at RunCzech races. She has run the Mattoni Ústí nad Labem Half Marathon three times and has also participated in races in České Budějovice, Liberec, and Naples. After her debut in the Prague Half Marathon, she’s now preparing for a new and much bigger challenge just one month later: the ORLEN Prague Marathon, which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary. “I’ve run a lot of half marathons—probably more than forty—but honestly, I don’t keep track,” she smiled.
“Running with RunCzech is always something special. The races are brilliantly organized, the atmosphere is electric, and the courses showcase the beauty of each city—especially Prague,” the German influencer explained. “The Generali Prague Half Marathon in April was truly unforgettable. Running through such an amazing city, on a flat and fast course—it gave me goosebumps.”
Cindy Haase is, in the truest sense, a passionate and devoted runner, and she has been completely enchanted by the unique character of the RunCzech series. “I keep coming back because each RunCzech race has its own special charm. But they all share one thing in common: an incredible running spirit. You truly feel part of something bigger—whether you’re chasing a personal record or just enjoying the run. I also love how international and welcoming these races are.”
Marathon weekend in Prague will be filled with accompanying runs and events, starting from Saturday morning. ORLEN Prague Marathon participants can take place in ORLEN Active Breakfast on Saturday morning, followed with the family events in the afternoon. dm family mile and dm bambini run will take place at the EXPO grounds at Holešovická tržnice at 15:00 and 16:00.
