Traffic Measures During the Mattoni Ústí nad Labem Running Festival

Dear Residents,

On Saturday, September 20, 2025, Ústí nad Labem will once again become the center of the running world. The 15th anniversary edition of the Mattoni Ústí nad Labem Half Marathon, held under the rules of World Athletics and European Athletics and supported by the City of Ústí nad Labem, has ranked among the elite distance races since its very first edition.

This year, we can look forward to many new features, including a refreshed concept of the running day as the Mattoni Ústí nad Labem Running Festival, with accompanying events such as the ORLEN 10K Run and the dm family mile.

Naturally, this will also bring certain traffic restrictions in the form of road closures. We kindly ask for your understanding regarding the necessary traffic measures that will take place on the day of the race. At the same time, we would like to warmly invite you into the streets—to take part, cheer on the runners, or enjoy performances by more than seven live bands.

Traffic restrictions will be in effect on Saturday, September 20, 2025

Full Road Closure Including No Stopping (No Parking)

  • Mírové náměstí 04:45–20:00;
  • Hrnčířská 04:45–20:00;
  • Revoluční (v úseku Mírové náměstí – Malá Hradební) 04:45–20:00;
  • Tovární (úsek Revoluční – Na Luhách) 06:00–19:00;
  • Tovární (úsek Na Luhách – Majakovského) 08:00–10:30 a 13:00–17:30;
  • Panská 06:00–19:00;
  • Brněnská 06:00–19:00;
  • U Chemičky 06:00–19:00;
  • Masarykova (úsek Špitálské náměstí – Revoluční) 06:00–19:00;
  • Pařížská 06:00–19:00;
  • Velká Hradební 06:00–19:00;
  • Malá Hradební (úsek Revoluční – U Kostela) 06:00–19:00;

Please note that the NO PARKING restriction applies to the entire race course starting from 6:00. We kindly ask you to move your vehicle in advance to avoid any inconvenience related to towing.

Access and Exit Options from Restricted Areas

  1. Location Klíše – the area is accessible from Předlice via Jateční, Kekulova, and Okružní streets; from the city center, Krásné Březno, and Střekov via Přístavní, Důlce, and Hoření streets towards Severní Terasa; from other directions without restrictions.
  2. Location Wider city center and Tovární Street – Tovární (section Revoluční – Na Luhách), Panská, Brněnská, U Chemičky, Masarykova (section Špitálské náměstí – Revoluční), Pařížská, Velká Hradební, Bělehradská (section Stroupežnického – Velká Hradební), Předmostí, Most Dr. E. Beneše, U Nádraží, Malá Hradební, U Trati – this area will be closed from 06:00 to 19:00 with no entry or exit permitted.
  3. Location Hrnčířská, Mírové náměstí, Revoluční (section Mírové náměstí – Malá Hradební) – this area will be closed from 04:45 to 20:00.
  4. Location OC Forum – Entry and exit from all OC Forum garages without restrictions.
  5. Locations around Žižkova Street, Střekov; around Děčínská Street, Svádov; Olšinky and surrounding areas – no restrictions.
  6. Location Předlice – Majakovského, Hrbovická, Chabařovická, Jana Roháče (section Hrbovická – K Pierburgu) will be closed from 13:00 to approximately 16:30.
  7. Temporary openings between races – Ulice U Vlečky, Průmyslová, Textilní (section Tovární – U Vlečky), Na Luhách (section Tovární – U Vlečky), Tovární (section Majakovského – Na Luhách) will be closed from 08:00 to 10:30, temporarily opened, and closed again from 13:00 to 17:30.

    The indicated end times of the closures are approximate. Roads for regular traffic will only be reopened after cleaning and inspections have been completed. All involved authorities and organizers will make every effort to reopen the sections as soon as possible.
