Course Map 2019 - critical points

Liberec Nature Run invites you into the woods, nature, home of animals and plants. It will be great to behave like a good guests so here are a few tips. 

1 ) Waste has to be thrown away only in marked areas which are situated behind each of refreshment stations. It is forbidden to throw away waste out of this area. 

2 ) Take your own bottle or camelbag and fill it up during the race at the special station with still water Mattoni.

Before the race

Elevation

If you are used to RunCzech road races, you might be little bit suprised. Mattoni Liberec Nature Run - 23 km has an elevation 400 m, 12 km course has elevation of 230 m.  

You can run in normal road running shoes - course is on paved path. Only in case of wet weather you might prefer to wear trail shoes.

Start number collection

Collection is possible at Running EXPO in OC Forum. Friday from 11am to 6pm, Saturday from 8am to 10am. Start number collection for Individual category is possible also during one-day EXPO in Running Mall Prague on Wednesday October 2nd (10am-7pm) - Františka Křížka 11, Prague 7.

Time limit

Time limit is 2 hours for 12 k course and 4 hours for 23 k course. The limit time is listed for each kilometer in the map of the race. All runners behind this time must leave from the course and end their participation in the race for safety reasons.

Chip and Timekeeping

Timekeeping will be tracked through chips, which will be attached to the back of the start number, and which must not be removed at any time during the race. Remember – NO CHIP = NO TIME! Your start number must be fixed visibly on your chest. Safety-pins will be included in the envelope containing your start number. Chips are disposable. In a team and 2Run race are runners results summed into a team result.

• 12.15 pm Start Liberec Nature Run 12 k (náměstí Dr. E. Beneše)
• 1.30 pm  Award ceremony (náměstí Dr. E. Beneše)
• 2:00 pm After-race party  (náměstí Dr. E. Beneše)
• 4:30 pm Technical area closing

How to get to start? 

The start for all of the races is on the Dr. E. Beneš Square in the city center, and therefore easily accessible by foot. There will be traffic restrictions on the race day. We recommend you to park car out of the city center and use a public transport.

Technical Area

Placed at Sokolovské Square. Entry only with a bib. Open from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. There are toilets, changing rooms, bag deposit, massages by Sport Park Medical, taping and after the race showers and medal engraving.

Bag Deposit

is opened from 10:30am til 4:30pm at Technical area. Bag deposit is sorted by last two digits of your bib number. Maximum accepted size is 25×35×50 cm. We recommend to use the official race sack which you got in the Expo. 

Start corridor

The starting gate is on the square Dr. E. Beneš. It opens at 11:00am for 23 k course and at 11:45 am for 12 k course. Only runners with their start numbers will be allowed access to the corridors.

Refreshment Points

Will be located at the 11,6 |20 km marks for 23 k race and at 9 km mark for 12 k course at the finish on both sides. Mattoni water, Gatorade isotonic drink and Fruit from Kaufland.

Refreshing / Sponge Points

Will be located at the 7 | 12,5 | 18,1 km. Mattoni water and water sponges.
