FAQ

What you can feel excited about?

We have prepared 5KM long courses, special digital diploma, you will have the chance to compete with other runners and the RunCzech team will meet you at one of the events. As soon as you pass the 125KM challenge, you will get a digital medal and you will be automatically selected into the prize raffle.

How do I get involved?

Go to RunCzech official website, register to the challenge, choose any of the Mattoni FreeRun courses and you can start biting off kilometres of this challenge. Record the exercise and send us your results via form. The challenge starts on the 9th of June 2020, you will have time to complete it until the 6th of September 2020.

How many kilometres should I make?

For a successful challenge completion you will have to run all 125 kilometres, but you will get a diploma after the first 5 kilometres you complete. We have also prepared rankings for the following distances: 5, 10, 20 and 40 kilometres per one run.

Where do I collect the kilometres?

You can collect the kilometres only at Mattoni FreeRun courses. The shortest length of one course is 5KM (general length of one FreeRun course), the maximum length of the course is not limited, but we only count the full circuits of FreeRun course. Rankings and diplomas are prepared for these distances: 5KM (one circuit), 10KM (two circuits), 20KM (four circuits) and 40KM (eight circuits).

Where do I find the Mattoni FreeRun courses?

There are 90 Mattoni FreeRun courses in total and they are placed all over the Czech Republic. On some of them you can meet coaches, who organise regular runs during a year. You can find all the courses at our official website, where you can download them in the .gpx. format.

How to record results?

To record a run, use a running app (such as the adidas Running App), a smart watch, or any device that records your position and running time. To count the result, we will always need to have your route and the time.

How many courses can I choose for running?

For successful challenge completion you can just select one favourite course or you can travel and collect the kilometres through the whole Czech Republic. Always start from the beginning towards the finish line, because we only count the kilometres from the course in its full length – start to finish.

Can I run outside the marked courses?

Kilometres outside the FreeRun courses or component parts of the course (like 3KM) will not be counted to the main challenge.

Where and how I should send my results?

You can send your records of previous runs through specific forms. From your run record we have to be able to find out your time, course length and the course map, where you ran. The record can be in the .gpx. format (or similar) or you can just take a screenshot of your favourite running app. You can send the records individually after each 5 kilometres or you can send them all at once for completing the main challenge, but it has to be done until the 6th of September.

Where do I find results?

You will find results at our RunCzech official website under the section Česko běží dál. We will prepare rankings for 5,10,20,40 and 125 kilometres.  There will also be comparison among each course. Results will be frequently updated.

Will there be any official winner announcement?

During the whole time, you will be able to follow all the rankings for the fastest runner in 5, 10, 20 and 40KM distances. We will prepare special prizes for these runners.  On top of that, we will award the first runner, who will complete the challenge. There will also be special awards for the following actions: the funniest photo from the course, the most creative racing bib. Plus every runner, who will pass the challenge of 125KM, will be automatically selected to the prize raffle.
