Rules of Česko běží dál

See bellow for the rules which apply to the “Česko běží dál” project:

  •     Each participant is obligated to comply with the current measures and regulations of the Government of the Czech Republic.
  •     The challenge is open to individuals over the age of 15.
  •     To complete the entire “Česko běži dál” challenge participants should run 125 km on official Mattoni FreeRun courses. Kilometres accrued outside of these courses do not count in the challenge.
  •     Only a full 5 km loop run on Mattoni FreeRun courses, are counted in the challenge. During one run, it is possible to run a few loops several times over, but it always has to be a full 5 km distance.   Shorter distances than 5 km loop on the Mattoni FreeRun courses do not count in the total challenge
  •     The organiser is not responsible for ensuring the current state of the course or its possible closure. In this case, the participant may use any other course to complete the challenge.
  •     Each participant participates at his or her own risk and peril, and is solely responsible for his or her physical readiness and competence.
  • The participant of the challenge must measure his individual runs using a selected running application, such as adidas Running by Runtastic, in order to send the organizer documentation of his performance.
  •     To verify completion of the challenge, the participant must send the organiser complete documentation of his/her runs to the e-mail ceskobezidal@runczech.com using the same e-mail as s/he used to register, or alternatively complete and submit the form. The documentation must be sent no later than by September 6. If the participant fails to do so, s/he is not entitled to a reward and will not be included in the prize draw.
  •     The participant may send the relevant documentation after each run or after completing the full challenge. Should the participant send the documentation separately, when sending information about the final run, s/he is obligated to state in the e-mail that s/he is sending the final part. The documentation may be sent in the following formats: .gpx, .kml and similar, or as images from a mobile phone (.jpg, .png atd). The information provided regarding the date, time, distance and a map of the run must be legible/visible to the organisers
  •     The participant is obligated to indicate which courses she/he completed in the e-mail along with the documentation.
  •     Only runners who have completed the full challenge (125 km) within the stipulated timeframe and whose sent documentation has been processed will be entered into the prize draw and eligible for rewards
  •     The prize draw will take place at the end of the “Česko běží dál” challenge at the Running Mall, Františka Křížka 11, Praha 7.

Tombola rules

All those who send documentation confirming they have completed the 125 km on Mattoni FreeRun courses by September 6 will be entered into a prize draw. The complete wording of the rules has been provided below:

III. Tombola date

The tombola will take place during the week commencing September 6 (hereinafter referred to as the “Competition period”)

IV. Participation terms and conditions

To take part, participants are obligated to send the relevant documentation by 23:59 of September 6 confirming that 125 kilometres have been run on Mattoni FreeRun courses between June 9 and September 6, 2020.

Employees of the organiser and persons close to them in the sense of § 22 of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., of the Civil Code, as amended, are excluded from participating in the competition. In the event that the winner is a person excluded from taking part in the competition, the prize will not be awarded to this person. Participants who do not meet the required conditions of the competition will also be excluded from the competition.

V. Winnings and handover of prizes

The jury will select prize-winners as part of the tombola at the end of the challenge. Winners will receive prizes from RunCzech partners, which will be posted on the RunCzech website during the challenge. Anyone who registers in advance and meets the conditions of the challenge has a chance of winning.

The winners will be contacted by the organiser no later than one week after the end of the challenge. Information about the prize will be sent to the winner by e-mail. The competitor may be asked to send his/her contact details (full name and address).

The competition organiser is not responsible for any malfunctioning of contact messages or any other reason for which it is not possible to contact the winner.

Winnings will be sent on the agreed date set by the organiser and the competitor.

VI. Principle of the competition

  1. To be eligible to enter the prize draw, it is necessary to complete the Česko běží dál challenge by completing 125 kilometres over the course of 90 days on five-kilometre Mattoni FreeRun courses and to send documentation (for instance a screenshot from any running app, e.g. adidas Running app) to ceskobezidal@runczech.com or alternatively to complete the form.
  2. The winners will be picked in a tombola by a jury comprising members of the marketing team (herein referred to as the “Specialist jury”).  
  3. The full wording of the competition task will be available throughout the competition on the runczech.com website.

VII. Copyright, licensing

By submitting a competition entry i.e. sending the documentation via the form or to ceskobezidal@runczech.com, the participant declares that s/he is the sole holder of rights to all protection subjects under copyright law contained in the competition entry. The competitor declares that the rights and legitimate interests of third parties will not be violated and that neither the organiser nor any other person will suffer damage and / or non-pecuniary damage, and in the event that this happens, s/he undertakes to compensate such damage and / or non-pecuniary damage incurred in full.

VIII. Exclusion from the competition

All those employed or in a similar relationship with the organiser including agencies authorised to manage the competition and their family members to the scope of close relatives, husband / wife, and siblings are excluded from taking part in the competition. Any participants who fail to comply with these rules in any way are excluded from the competition. The competition organiser also reserves the right to exclude from the competition any participant at its own discretion.

IX. Rights and obligations of the organiser

The organiser reserves the right to replace the declared prize with a prize of a similar type and corresponding value; furthermore, the right to alter the competition rules at any time, including the period of its validity, or to terminate the competition. The competition organiser also reserves the right not to award competition prizes if the quality of the competition entries is, in the opinion of the jury, insufficient or if a low number of competitors participate in the competition or if a low number of competition entries is received. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash and requests for prizes which differ from those specified by the organiser will not be accepted. Winnings are not transferable to another person.

The organiser is not responsible for non-delivery of the prize in the event of a change to the delivery address of the winner, as well as in the event that the winner cannot be found at the address. The organiser is not responsible for non-delivery of prize notification in the event of any issues with the winner's e-mail address or other fault in data transmission. The organiser's liability for any faults to the prize is governed by the relevant provisions of the Civil Code. The organiser will ensure the payment of any withholding tax, which is charged to the winnings in accordance with the applicable law.

X. Personal data

By submitting a contribution to the competition, i.e. by publishing the competition entry (photography) on the Instagram social network, pursuant to Article 3 of these rules, each participant: a) in accordance with the relevant provisions of Act No. 480/2004 Coll. as amended, grants to the competition organiser consent to the use of his/her e-mail address, provided to the organiser in connection with his/her participation in the competition, for the business and marketing purposes of the organiser, in particular for the purpose of sending commercial communications; b) in accordance with Act No. 101/2000 Coll., Act No. 40/1995 Coll. and Act No. 480/2004 Coll. as amended, grants to the organiser consent for the processing of personal data to include name, surname, address, e-mail address, telephone number, or other data which they provide the organiser with in connection with participation in the competition, for the purpose of verifying his/her participation in the competition, handing over competition prizes and for other business and marketing purposes of the organiser, for a period of 2 years; to the publication of these under a username in the media, advertising and promotional materials of the organiser, press materials, other communication media, on the Facebook page www.facebook.com/RunCzech and on the Instagram profile www.instagram.com/runczech. At the same time, the competitor also consents to the processing of these personal data in full and for the purposes mentioned above through third parties authorised by the organiser.

The organiser is authorised to assign other personal data on the competitor in addition to this personal data. The competition participant acknowledges that his personal data will be processed systematically and mechanically. The provision of personal data is voluntary. The competitor is aware of his/her rights arising from the provisions of § 11 and § 21 of Act No. 101/2000 Coll., i.e. s/he has the right to access his/her personal data; furthermore, in particular if s/he finds or believes that the administrator has processed his/her personal data in a manner which is contrary to the protection of his/her private and personal life or contrary to law, in particular if his/her personal data are inaccurate in relation to the purpose of their processing, s/he may request the administrator for an explanation or may request that the administrator resolves the situation and blocks, corrects, supplements or destroys personal data. Written revocation of consent is effective upon delivery to the organiser and results in the exclusion of the competitor from further participating in the game, including the loss of the right to transfer the prize, if delivered before this is handed over; c) grants the organiser, in accordance with § 12 of the Civil Code, as amended, consent to use his/her image, written speeches, pictorial images and visual and audio recordings concerning his/her person or his/her personal expression procured by the organiser in connection with the competition and the handing over of prizes (hereinafter referred to as "screenshot") for commercial purposes on all communication media, regardless of their nature and intention in all the standard ways, including subsequent modification and possible linking up with other works or inclusion in a collective work. The participant grants this consent to the organiser free of charge, without restrictions relating to material, time, quantity and territory. This consent also applies to third parties to whom the organiser provides the screenshot in accordance with its purpose.

XI. Competition rules, applicable law

The complete rules of the competition are available at www.runczech.com for the entire period of its validity. This competition and the legal relations arising from these rules are governed by Czech law. By submitting a comment to the competition according to Article 3 of these rules, each competitor approves and accepts these rules and instructions, which are listed on the competition documents. The jury's decision will be final and binding in all respects; no competitor will have the right to challenge the verdict and the jury will not explain or discuss the decision in any way.
