Christmas atmosphere and lots of pure emotions gave the start to the Sorrento Positano race, the last event of the RunCzech 2019 season, on Sunday morning December 1st.

At 9 o'clock 1680 runners representing 35 nationalities kicked off the Panoramica 27 km race flooding the Christmas streets of picturesque Sorrento coast. Hundreds of children with their parents joined the 2 km Family Run & Friends.

The winner of the Sorrento Positano 2019 Panoramica 27 km became Italian Gilio Iannone (1h32'10 "), followed by Marco Losio (1h32'38") and Marco Ferrari (1h33'11 ").

Among women the first came in Italian Federica Livi with the time of 1h53’10 ”. The second arrived Lara Villa (1h54'07"), followed by the Hungarian Sofia Malatinszky (1h59'38 ").

The next appointment to open the RunCzech season 2020 is the Napoli City Half Marathon (the World Athletics Bronze Label race awarded also the five-star European Athletics quality certificate) to be held on the 23rd of February in Naples.
