PRAGUE INTERNATIONAL MARATHON –TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS

During the weekend of 6th and 7th May, one of the most prestigious marathons in the world – The Prague International Marathon – will be taking place in Prague. Each year runners and athletes flock to the city from all over the country and world to take  part in this traditional running event. Since the race is held in the very heart of Prague, it is accompanied by a number of transport restrictions. We would like to apologize in advance for any caused transport complications and we hope that you enjoy the race

PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON 6th – 7th MAY 2023

For the purposes of race safety, any vehicles parked on the race course will be towed away!

Locations: Celetná, Dvořákovo nábřeží, Kosárkovo nábřeží, Křižovnická, Lesser Town
Square, Masarykovo nábřeží, Mostecká, Na Příkopě, Národní, Ovocný trh, Pařížská,
Smetanovo nábřeží, Old Town Square, U Plovárny, náměstí J. Palacha (in the section
between Mánes Bridge and Křižovnická), nábřeží E. Beneše and the underpass beneath
Čech Bridge – all the way along, nábřeží kpt. Jaroše and the underpass beneath Štefánik
Bridge – all the way along.

HOW TO PROCEED IN THE EVENT THAT YOUR VEHICLE IS TOWED AWAY

Get in touch with the Municipal Police by calling 156. Then proceed in accordance with
instructions given by the Prague Service Administration staff.
