Betelhem Moges of Ethiopia, 2012 Champion of Mattoni Ústí nad Labem Half Marathon and 2013 winner of Mattoni Olomouc Half Marathon, records successful debut in 2014 Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon with 5th place finish and unofficial time of 2:26:42 (negative half marathon split: 1:14:07 and 1:12:35), 1 minute and 41 seconds behind the winner, Mula Seboka of Ethiopia.
