On Saturday, April 2, the Sportisimo Prague Half Marathon will start. This exceptional running event promises great sporting performances by professionals and amateur enthusiasts. However, the unforgettable atmosphere along the course and the safety of the route also brings some minor inconveniences, which are associated with traffic restrictions. Parking restrictions - April 1 and 2, 2022

Vehicles parked in the locations listed below will be towed away for safety reasons. Please park your vehicle somewhere else to avoid inconvenience with potential tow.

• Street 17. Listopadu
  • on the right side in the section from Na Rejdišti to the carriage entrance of Rudolfinum, from 1. 4. (8 am) till 2. 4. (5 pm) – on the right side in the section from the carriage entrance of Rudolfinum to the start of the line up lanes, from 1. 4. (6 pm) till 2. 4. (5 pm) – on the right side in the direction to Pařížská in the section from Široká - Břehová from 1. 4. (8 am) till 2. 4. (5 pm)
• Dvořákovo nábřeží
  • both sides in the section from Čechův most – Na Rejdišti, from 1. 4. (8 am) till 2. 4. (10 pm)
• Náměstí Jana Palacha
  • 1. 4. (6 pm) till 2. 4. (5 pm)
• Na Rejdišti, Břehová(on the left side in the section from Dvořákovo nábřeží to 17. listopadu street), Křižovnická, U Plovárny, Nábřěží Edvarda Beneše – (underpass under Čechův most), Nábřeží Kapitána Jaroše – (underpass under Štefánikův most) – 2. 4. (from 00:01 am till 3 pm).

How to proceed in the case that your car is towed away

Contact the Municipal Police by calling 156. Then proceed in accordance with instructions given by the Prague Service Administration staff.

The possibility of entrance and exit in area of Prague 1

Unlimited entrace/ exit during the race from and to this streets: Pařížská, Revoluční, Truhlářská, Konviktská, Betlémské square, Jilská, Zlatá, Husova, Mariánské square, Platnéřská, Maiselova, Jáchymova

Area along Kaprova street

• during the closure of Smetanovo nábřeží and Křižovnická street: 
  • entry via Dlouhá, V Kolkovně, Široká, Žatecká
  • way out via Žatecká > Platnéřská > Maiselova > Jáchymova > Pařížská > Dlouhá > Masná > Rybná; (popř. Žatecká > Platnéřská > Maiselova > Jáchymova > Pařížská > Dlouhá > V Kolkovně > Široká > Elišky Krásnohorské > Bílkova > Dušní í and then to the right to Dvořákovo square)

Valentinská

• in the section Kaprova – Široká from 00:01am  to 1:00 pm two-way operation

Národní

• in the direction to Smetanovo nábřeží open till 9:30 am
• in the direction to most Legií open till 9:50 am and then after 11:40 pm
• in the direction to Masarykovo nábřeží open till 9:50 am and then after 10:40 pm

Area along  Petrské square

• Unlimited entry, except for the arrival from nábřeží Ludvíka Svobody (same for exit).

Area along Karolíny Světlé street

• Entry possible only from Jungmannova street from 9:45 am till 10:45 am and exit is possible only via streets Betlémská > U Dobřenských > Náprstkova > Liliová > Karlova > Seminářská • after 10:45 am is entry possible via Divadelní street from Masarykovo nábřeží. Exit via Karolíny Světlé > Konviktská > Divadelní > Masarykovo nábřeží.

Transvere crossing

Crossing is possible only in special occasions and ONLY IF INSTRUCTED by State Policie in spaces between runners.

Complete street closures on Saturday April 2

Traffic will be controlled by State Police in cooperation with the Municipal Police. Step by step closing of streets and crossroads will take place from 9:30 am till 1 pm. (times mentioned below are tentative, we recommend to exit with sufficient reserve of time).
