Dear fellow citizens,

for the eleventh time, the Mattoni České Budějovice Half Marathon will be held in our city. On Saturday, June 3, 2023, the streets of the metropolis will turn into a running track with thousands of runners. Family teams, relay pairs or individuals will once again measure their strength against opponents, but above all against themselves. With his will, fitness and perseverance. However, one thing is certain. A medal awaits every runner at the finish line. This year will again be accompanied by necessary traffic restrictions. This is in the interest of the safety of runners, cheering spectators, but also to ensure the flow of traffic. Please kindly accept some necessary precautions on the day of the race. At the same time, we would like to invite you to the streets, come take part or cheer on the runners, because Budějovice is a city of sports.

TRAFFIC MEASURES DURING THE MATTONI RACE 1/2 MARATHON ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS ARE IN EFFECT ON SATURDAY 3 JUNE 2023

 COMPLETE CLOSURE INCLUDING NO STOPPING (parking)

Valid along the entire race route from 5:30pm to 10:30 pm (from 4pm on the dm family mile route). The times listed below are indicative, the organizer will make every effort to comply with the times listed below.

• Husova (in the section Česká - Dlouhý most) 5:30pm – 9pm;
• F. A. Gerstnera (in the section U Zimního stadionu – Zátkovo nábřeží) 4pm – 9pm;
• Generála Píky 5:30pm – 10:30pm (entry / exit from / to shopping centers allowed throughout the race);
• Jiráskovo nábř. 5:30pm – 8pm;
• Karla IV. 4pm – 10:30pm;
• Krajinská 4pm – 10:30pm;
• Lidická třída (in the section Mánesova – Žižkova třída) 4pm – 9pm (except for bus vehicles);
• Na Sadech (in the section Mariánské nám.  - Rudolfovská) 5:30pm – 10:30pm;
• Nádražní (in the section Rudolfovská –  Generála Píky) 5:30pm – 10:30pm;
• Nám. Přemysla Otakara II. 10am –12am (on June 3, 2023 from 6pm, the southern part of the square will be closed due to preparatory work);
• Čéčova (in the section Pražská tř. - Průběžná) 5:30pm – 8pm;
• Průběžná (in the section Čéčova - Plzeňská) 5:30pm – 8pm;
• Plzeňská (in the section Jiráskovo nábřeží – Průběžná, kruhový objezd) 5:30pm – 8pm;
• Pražská tř. (in the section Mariánské nám. – Strakonická) 5:30pm – 10:30pm;
• Rudolfovská třída (in the section Na Sadech – Nádražní) 5:30pm – 10:30pm;
• Sokolský ostrov 5:30pm – 9 pm (exit without restrictions from the swimming pool);
• Pekárenská (in the section Nádražní – J. Plachty 5:30pm – 10:30pm);
• U Zimního stadionu 4pm – 9pm;
• Vodní (in the section Generála Píky – Rudolfovská) 5:30pm – 10pm;
• Žižkova třída (Karla IV. after Senovážné náměstí) 4pm – 10:30pm.

Stopping bans will apply in these locations from 10am, with the exception of square Přemysl Otakar II., where the stopping ban will be in effect from 6/2/2023 from 6 pm, and partially from 12 pm due to preparatory work.

The transport company will operate public transport lines on standard routes until approx. 5:30pm, after which public transport will switch to exclusion mode on detour routes.

EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT

On Saturday, June 3, 2023, in connection with the organization of the Mattoni České Budějovice Half Marathon, public transport will be closed in the city center and its surroundings from 5:30 pm to 10:30pm.

• Piaristická (throughout the day)
• Poliklinika Sever
• Pražské sídliště
• Průběžná
• Senovážné náměstí – post
• Skuherského
• Strakonická – business zone (for lines 5, 6, 9)
• U Soudu (only in the direction of Mánesova, already from 4pm)
• U Trojice
• U Zelené ratolesti
• U Zimního stadionu (already from 16:00)
• Voříškův Dvůr (only for lines 5, 9)
• Žerotínova
