The charity organisation, Running With Those That Can't o.s was set up by 3^rd year medical students from Charles University with the support of students from other universities. Its founding students established the organisation believing that philanthropy and a willingness to help others would serve as a gateway to become better students, human beings and doctors. We want to break down social taboos formed about those with disabilities in the Czech Republic and to help these individuals live longer, happier and better quality lives.

The objective and mission of Running With Those That Can't o.s. is:

• To educate the population about the needs of disabled people
• To offer practical help to disabled people and their families

Working in conjunction with Prague International Marathon, our sponsors and partners, we are organising a collection to purchase wheelchairs for disabled children. We run with these children in their wheelchairs at races which provides them with the feeling of taking part. After the race the wheelchairs are donated to the children and their families.
