Collection is possible at Marathon Expo at Vystaviste Holesovice. Opening hours and more info here.
General rules
It is strictly forbidden to use roller-skates, bicycles or other means of transport, or to go on the course with a child’s pram, run with dogs or carry children. Participation in the race is at participants’ own risk. For more information go here.
Time limit
Time limit is 7 hours since the start of the race. The limit time is listed for each kilometer in the map of the race. All runners behind this time must leave from the course and end their participation in the race for safety reasons.
Chip and Timekeeping
Timekeeping will be tracked through chips, which will be attached to the back of the start number, and which must not be removed at any time during the race. Remember – NO CHIP = NO TIME! Your start number must be fixed visibly on your chest. Safety-pins will be included in the envelope containing your start number. Chips are disposable. In a team and 2Run race are runners results summed into a team result.

How to get to start?
Please use the metro on the race day when travelling to and from the start area (stations Můstek line A and B or Muzeum line B and C). Public transport is on Saturday May 4th, from 11 am till 9 pm and Sunday May 5th, from 7 am till 6 pm free for each runner, who has a starting number in his hands or starting number in RunCzech App with ID card.
Cars should be parked at P + R car parks. More information find on official website of Prague public transport.
Technical Area
Placed on Wenceslas Square. Entry is possible only with a start number. Open from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. There are toilets, changing rooms, bag deposit, massages and after the race medal engraving.
Start corridor
Corridors are open from 8:15 a.m. Your corridor is according to “group” on your start number. Entrance to the corridors from technical area. Entrance only for runners.
Bag Deposit
Open from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Hand over your belongings to a volunteer standing at the appropriate box corresponding to the last two digits of your bib number. Maximum accepted size of bags 25×45×70 cm.
Pacemakers
Are clearly visible according to times: 3:15 | 3:30 | 3:45 | 4:00 | 4:15 | 4:30 | 5:00. You can find them in each corridor.
Information for category 2Run
The first member starts together with other categories of the Volkswagen Prague Marathon at 9:00 from the Old Town Square - group D. The relay baton receives the first member in his/her envelope, and the relay baton is handed over by the members at the handover point.
Transport to transfer points
By bus - departure from the car park at the Muzeum metro station (opposite the new National Museum building), departure at 9:00, 9:15, 9:30 and 9:45. It is possible to use the transport back from changing point at 11:00, 11:45 and 12:15. Come in time.
Marathon Mass
The marathon mass will be served in the church sv. Kříže (Nové Město, Na příkopě 856/16) on Sunday 5 May at 7:30 am.
Refreshment Points
Will be located at the 6,3 | 10,4 | 15,9 | 21 | 26,2 | 30,5 | 35,5 | 39,7 km marks. Mattoni water / Gatorade isotonic drink/ Fruit from Kaufland.
Refreshing / Sponge Points
Will be located at the 8,6 | 13,6 | 18,1 | 23,7 | 29 | 32,8 | 37,8 km marks Mattoni water and water sponges.
Toilets
Are placed at every refreshment point, technical area, at the start and finish.
Medical Service
Will be available at the start, the finish, technical area and along the course. If you need to call an ambulance, ask a volunteer or call the emergency services on number 155 and tell them your starting number. If you are not feeling well or have recently been ill it’s best to not take part in the race. There will be 35 medical points, 4 mobile AED and 11 ambulance points along the course.
On the back of your number fill in all important information about your state of health for the case of medical assistance.
After the race
Finish Phorographs
Order your photographs online. Available approximately 3 days after the race at www.marathon-photos.com. Better sale if offered before the race.
Result service
Results will be published after the race as soon as possible. For the standing is determining the official time, count since starting shot. You can contact us if there is some mistake in your result within 5 working days after the race.
