Start number collection

Collection is possible at Running EXPO at dům Kultury (Palace of Culture). Start number collection for categories Individual, Relay, 2run is possible also during one-day EXPO in Running Mall Prague on Saturday September 18th (10am-7pm) - Františka Křížka 11, Prague 7.

General rules

It is strictly forbidden to use roller-skates, bicycles or other means of transport, or to go on the course with a child’s pram, run with dogs or carry children. Participation in the race is at participants’ own risk. For more information go here.

Time limit

Time limit is 3 hours since the start of the race. The limit time is listed for each kilometer in the map of the race. All runners behind this time must leave from the course and end their participation in the race for safety reasons.

Chip and Timekeeping

Timekeeping will be tracked through chips, which will be attached to the back of the start number, and which must not be removed at any time during the race. Remember – NO CHIP = NO TIME! Your start number must be fixed visibly on your chest. Safety-pins will be included in the envelope containing your start number. Chips are disposable. In a team and 2Run race are runners results summed into a team result.

How to get to start? 

The start for all of the races is on the Mírové Square in the city center, and therefore easily accessible by foot. There will be traffic restrictions on the race day. Your start number is your ticket for public transport on race day (from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.).

Technical Area

Placed in Atrium of Municipality between Lidické and Mírové Square. Entry only with a bib. Open from 1:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. There are toilets, changing rooms, bag deposit, massages (Emspoma by Jutta), taping, showers and after the race medal engraving.

Bag Deposit

Belongings to volunteers standing at the appropriate box corresponding to the last two digits of your bib number. Maximum accepted size of bags 25×35×50 cm. We recommend to use the official race sack which you got in the Expo.

Start corridor

The starting gate is on the Dolní Square. It opens at 2:30pm. Only runners with their start numbers will be allowed access to the corridors.

Pacemakers

Are clearly visible according to times: 1:30 | 1:40 | 1:50 | 2:00 | 2:10 | 2:30. The pacemakers will be standing in the appropriate corridors according to times.

Refreshment Points

Will be located at the 4,8 | 10,1 | 15,1 km marks and at the finish on both sides. Mattoni water, Gatorade isotonic drink and Fruit from Kaufland.

Refreshing / Sponge Points

Will be located at the 7 | 12,5 | 18,1 km. Mattoni water and water sponges.

Toilets

Are placed at every refreshment point, technical area and at the start and finish.

Medical Service

Will be available at the start, the finish, technical area and along the course. If you need to call an ambulance, ask a volunteer or call the emergency services on number 155 and tell them your starting number. If you are not feeling well or have recently been ill it’s best to not take part in the race.

There will be more than 12 medical points marked with banners and flags of Aid Station, 4 mobile teams with AED and ambulance points along the course.

On the back of your number fill in all important information about your state of health for the case of medical assistance.

Information for Relay Teams & 2Run

The relay race and the race 2Run start at the same time as the runners in the main race, at 3:00 pm. The start is on the Mírové square. The first relay member finds relay baton in his/her envelope, which should be passed at the changeover points to the next team member.

1st Member of the Relay Team - should line up to the corridor (group) written on his/her start number. For relays and 2Run always corridor "D".

2nd – 4th Members of the Relay Team - line up in the prepared corridor at the appropriate changeover points.

Changeover

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE GRAPHICAL ILLUSTRATION OF THE CHANGEOVERS!

Wait for your team-mate (A) in the corridor at the changeover in front of the carpet that measures your time. As soon as you (B) see your team-mate, run together towards the carpet. BOTH OF YOU (A+B) MUST RUN OVER THE TIMEKEEPING CARPET AT THE SAME TIME. This carpet is laid on the ground and is black. The incoming runner (A) finishes in the area beyond the carpet, you continue on to the next changeover or to the finish line.

Team members must run in order, in which they register to the race. It is not possible to make changes at the last moment before the race. 

Transportation to the changeover points

to 1st and 2nd changeover – Individually or by foot.

to 2nd changeover (10 km) and 3rd changeover (15 km) a bus will come right opposite to the Expo exit at 2:15 p.m. The bus departure time is 2:35 p.m. The bus will stay on the change-overs and after the last runner runs out from each change-over, it will take runners back to the city center. 

After the race 

Finish Photographs

You will be notified about your finish photos by email within 3 days after the race. You can order your phtos at: www.marathon-photos.com.

Result service

Results will be published after the race as soon as possible. For the standing is determining the official time, count since starting shot. You can contact us if there is some mistake in your result within 5 working days after the race.

After-race Party

Meet runners and enjoy little refreshment at our After - race party, it takes place at 5 pm on Mírové náměstí. You can also expect a litlle ceremony for winners of relay, 2Run and Rectors Cup.
