Run for a Good Cause
Running for charity is commonplace abroad. And this modern and appealing way of helping others is starting to gain ground here too. In 2015 a total of 4 620 people competed in RunCzech races, generating UER 279 thousand in total. At last year’s London marathon, the world’s largest fundraising event held over one day, a total of GBP 54 million was raised by 37 thousand such runners! It’s true that the Czech Republic is far smaller however Running for a Good Cause is starting to work here too and the number of runners is constantly growing!
How it works? It’s simple. You’re only three steps away:
- Go to the list of not-for-profits
- Select a not-for-profit organisation
- Get in touch with the not-for-profit
You will be taken care of by staff at the not-for-profit who will explain everything to you and sell you a start number in the race. They may even offer you the chance to feel doubly good about it. You can become a Good Cause runner.
