Rest in peace, Zane Branson
RunCzech sadly announces that Zane Branson, a manager of elite athletes, one of our closest co-workers, co-founder of the RunCzech Racing Team and our close friend, has passed away.
Zane has passed away suddenly when he went to observe athletes during their training in Iten, Kenya. It happened on Saturday, July 25.
Saturday’s tragic event casts a shadow on an overly successful trip during which International Athletics Consultancy has implemented major developments to the adidas Marathon Athlete Development Program and adidas RunCzech Racing Program.
His determination and love for what he did contributed to the development of road running and helped many athletes, including Wilson Chebet, Patrick Makau or Joyce Chepkirui, to become a part of athletic history.
Rest In Peace Zane Branson, you will be truly missed.
